"TRS", or the "Totally Rad Show" for the uninitiated, is the name of everyone's favorite video podcast.

At least it should be.

The podcast is hosted by the TRio (get it?) of Jeff Cannata, Alex Albrecht, and Dan Trachtenberg, or CAT (Cannata Albrecht Trachtenberg) as I will call them from now on until that acronym catches on and sweeps the nation head over heels, making it dance while doing a handstand (or at least until I finish this piece so I can give it a catchy title).

The three gracious hosts spend an hour every week in front of a green screen discussing their opinions on movies, video games, comics, and television, never failing to provide humor throughout.

Behind the camera is the man who controls all of the technical aspects of the show. The man they call Steve; the man I like to call the "David Copperfield" of video podcasting.

Why do I give him this name?

Because he has the ability to make words appear as if from nowhere. And he makes green screen magic. Enough said.

The appeal of the show comes from the chemistry that CAT have (has?) with one another, along with their control over the content of each week's episode. There is never a lack of enthusiasm on their part because they discuss topics that genuinely interest them.

In fact, they are so enthusiastic about the topics they discuss, that in one episode, one topic in particular caused Jeff "you're writing a check you 'Cannata' cash" to erupt into an unrequited fit of rage over his favorite television show, "The Shield." In the episode, Jeff becomes momentarily irate with Dan, who doesn't follow "The Shield", for ruining a major plot point of the show... for himself (Dan) after looking the show up on the internet. Now if that's not passion, I just don't know what is.

Some people might go as far as to call these guys the Three Kings of "nerd culture" (the Three Amigos, the Three Musketeers, the Three Men and a Baby, okay I'll stop); at the very least I call them damn entertaining.

Full of candid discussions and more laughs than you can shake a large but manageable stick at, the "Totally Rad Show" is a podcast that you'd have to be asleep not to enjoy.

Don't take my word for it. Head over to The Main Feature to find a link to the "Totally Rad Show."
